K-type thermocouple wire

This is a k-type thermocouple wire with yellow PVC insulation, which is good up to about 105 C or 221 F. When this wire is used as extension wire, it can transmit the temperature signal over the full type K range, from -320 to +2500 degree F.

This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own thermocouples for a wide range of applications, or to make your own extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard thermocouple specifications.
